Wolfgang Wodarg is a member of the SPD. In 1991 he received a scholarship for epidemiology and health economics at John Hopkins University in Baltimore. Among other things, Wodarg was an EU rapporteur for the SPD parliamentary group and holds specialist qualifications in internal diseases - pneumology, hygiene - environmental medicine and public health - social medicine.
I am publishing this paper because it can make a contribution to public discourse at an important time.
This document is not an expression of my personal opinion.
Nevertheless, it is important in an open, pluralistic, value-oriented, democratic society to publish available information and positions and put them up for discussion. Personally, I am of the opinion that this does not happen to an irritating extent in the leading media.

What a stupid piece of writing from this Schwab: between quotes taken out of context (see Drosten), deliberately abbreviated statements (see Wodarg, who explains that there would very well have been excess mortality without the corona measures), and "studies" that don't deserve the name (when there were allegedly more deaths in US states "because of" mask-wearing, instead of stating the clear fact that masks were compulsory because of the previously rising death toll), it is teeming with further factual nonsense. All this from a man who has a professorship, so should be able to read studies, quote correctly and, as a lawyer, draw logical conclusions. In his pamphlet, however, he merely proves that he cannot do this.
It is embarrassing for the city that does not exist to employ such people as professors.
I wonder what else he presents to his students as supposed facts during his professional career?
In any case, he should please keep his 'intellectual outpourings' private instead of trying to make fun of his students.
Some may think it's nitpicking: The Maryland businessman who left 7 million dollars in his will for the construction of a hospital had the first name JOHNS! The university that grew out of the hospital is therefore called "Johns Hopkins University". Today, other "philanthropists" use this university to make their voices heard for profitable globalist campaigns. It's quite perfidious to dominate the world with the fear of epidemics. - As a doctor, I am convinced that exaggerations and abuses of global "epidemic protection" will turn out to be a disaster for democracy and the economy, a large-scale war against freedom and truth! There are projections that put the damage to human life, social peace and the economy higher than the benefits of vaccinations and measures. We can and must defend ourselves against the fact that self-proclaimed "philanthropists", in reality globalist oligarchs (Al Gore, Gates, Soros, Bezos, Zuckerberg & others), are robbing the world's population of their money and their freedom and fundamental rights!

Even though this essay was written to discredit Dr. Wodarg, it contains more than anything that has been criticized since the beginning of the crisis and has not yet been included in the media discourse.
With regard to media criticism, I remember something I was told in 1999 by a visitor, a committed freelance journalist from Berlin, during my teaching stay at Birzeit University in Ramallah (Palestinian Autonomous Territories). He was indignant about a new introduction by the then Chancellor Schröder, namely that the leading journalists/media representatives were regularly invited to a "briefing" - a nice breakfast together - in the Chancellery. The government's wishes for the media were communicated there. Anyone who stepped out of line was no longer invited! I didn't take it too seriously back then.
I hear that this lovely habit has remained. So? Who's surprised what's happening now?

I would say it is the most comprehensive written elaboration on the subject of corona and "fake news" and could easily become the basis for a second edition of the Arte documentary on swine flu.
His work reminded me in many places of the knowledge I had gained and also shed light on additional aspects.
Prof. Dr. Schwab's professional background had led me to hope that I would learn more about the legal classification. As the work pursues a completely different objective, this was more likely my mistake.

Anyone who undertakes the time-consuming and reading-intensive task of reading this document carefully can simply no longer escape the almost unequivocal certainty that the deliberate control of all the measures and regulations that are raining down on the population is being carried out in a targeted and controlled manner, without any corresponding appreciation of the evidence. I seriously wonder how long the people in the countries, and Germany and Austria (I am writing from Austria), will put up with these restrictions on their basic rights. Since March 2020, and I can definitely see this in my immediate circle of friends and acquaintances, there has been a real sense of uncertainty, which is now increasingly turning into anger. Driven by the tendencies that are already becoming visible in a very clear form, without regard for losses, without a willingness to engage in dialog, to continue pursuing the previous line. It would be an exciting story if there weren't so many personal tragedies, up to and including the ultimate act of suicide. Civil disobedience is already being practiced in our country, including by myself, of course. I hope it will not turn out the way our Federal Chancellor Kurz expressed it in his words at the beginning of this event, albeit with a different intention... whatever the cost. Now the word resistance is slowly coming to the fore.... cost what it may.

I would like to raise the suspicion that the timing and largely identical content of the approaches to discrediting Dr. Wodarg in the comments and contributions around 18 to 20 March, which Prof. Schwab takes apart in his response and analysis, suggest a common template that was sent to sympathetic journalists in advance. The similarity of topics and arguments is very striking.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to read through the 182-page document. This document is too powerful even to skim through! But in my opinion it should not remain unread. Perhaps there is someone out there who could create a TLDR (To long did'nt read), i.e. a summary.

Very good article that I read almost in its entirety. I had to smile at the author Simon Hurtz from the Süddeutsche Zeitung. A similarly arrogant slam against critical voices of the author's corona measures appeared in the SZ itself. The article upset me so much that I wrote my first and so far last letter to the editor and have been boycotting the SZ ever since. As one of the covidiots and aluminum hats who were present at the first demonstration on Munich's Theresienwiese, I miss a reference in Prof. Schwab's article to Event 201, which took place in New York in autumn 2019. This was an event organized by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Johns Hopkins University at which a pandemic was simulated and high-ranking representatives from politics and corporations were present. In this simulation, the "fear strategy" is also publicly recommended as a measure to convince the population of the measures. Furthermore, it is recommended to use the media cannon in the case of so-called fake news - i.e. different opinions - and to flood people with the "real" news. As the saying goes: a government is only as good as its advisors. Who is surprised by the strategy paper of the Ministry of the Interior when our government is being advised by institutions such as the BMG Foundation and the WHO, and these institutions are backed by pharmaceutical companies. Norbert Häring, who also writes for the Handelsblatt, explains this in detail on his blog. In addition, summaries and the entire 4-hour event201 can be viewed online and on the original website. On the subject of the virus being from the laboratory: This was claimed some time ago on French public television by Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier. American conservative media in particular have been reporting this for months. There it is also called the China virus and the hawks in Washington are already calling for revenge and compensation. After the election in the USA, we will see where things go. I sincerely hope that Prof. Schwab's conclusions are correct and that the whole thing can be explained psychologically. That politicians and the media have maneuvered themselves into something here. Perhaps also a collective, global hysteria. Anything else would be conspiracy theory.

The topic of SARS-CoV2 is not complex, it is extremely simple if you have the basic knowledge of microbiology and immunology that every doctor should have. The complexity argument is always used by two sides, by those who want to prevent any discussion about it and by those who are too lazy to discuss it.

I have great respect for your work and found it as exciting as a thriller. As an engineer in a higher federal authority, I am - like you - not familiar with the subject and would like to make 3 points here:
1. out of interest, I have read a few books on the subject of psychology. Even these basics make it possible to grasp a central point about Corona, which I have not found in almost any contribution (mainstream or alternative, TV, net or newspaper). In the exchange of information, factual content plays a subordinate role, other points are much more important. Psychology - especially social psychology - provides insights into why people behave the way they do. Facts will never change that.
2. on the subject of the quality of the media, I would like to add an example from my professional environment: A few years ago, there were almost identical reports in all the media that the standard rifle G36 (manufacturer Heckler&Koch) of the Bw had significant defects. However, there were no significant internal complaints, and a colleague who was directly involved with the G36 could not understand the reports. The commission of inquiry headed by a GREEN politician !!!, as well as the judgment of the Koblenz Higher Regional Court, found no significant defects. The majority of the press had therefore spread fake news! If this relatively simple topic has been uniformly misreported, why should a much more complex and larger topic like Corona be better reported?
3. democracy is organized irresponsibility. I experience this on a large scale every day at "my" resort. Instead, the standard is management with opportunism. In this respect, I find "conspiracy theories" on both extremes of Corona opinions: There never was and never is a ( THE! ) plan to oppress people, vaccinate etc. Our politicians are predominantly unqualified, conform to the system and driven by public opinion. Those who have opinions that differ from the narrative hardly ever get into these positions or are excluded. Logically, there was also no plan, organization, etc. to protect the population to the best of their knowledge and belief, to weigh up the measures, etc.. Assigning a high level of competence to state institutions is probably typically German, as it means relinquishing personal responsibility. If ever "to big to fail" applied, then it was for corona and the way it was handled.

Believing is not knowing, as my grandmother used to say. The dossier appears to be very well researched, even if I can't follow all the sources (and their potential sources). The curse of the new media is that a lot of information is released to the general public unchecked, whether by experts or laypeople. It is often difficult to check it afterwards and it is then "believed". And that is what is actually fatal about the current situation. Only a few people know anything at all. And it is this lack of knowledge that scares people. They long for simple answers, blanket statements and make up their own minds about what suits them best. So it's good that a dossier like this can replace "believe" with "know". But this will probably remain an isolated case.
I value science. But people are active there too. Some may allow themselves to be instrumentalized, others are addicted to power or money - just like everywhere else. It is fatal that there is a breeding ground for this in that the majority of the media, apparently driven by consumers' thirst for knowledge, allow themselves to be drawn into such dubious reporting.
Where are the critical voices against Mr. Wodarg, Schiffmann and Co. Who watches and scrutinizes the "alternative" media? Where are the people who not only view the "mainstream" media critically, but also don't take everything that is said on YT and Telegram at face value?

Basically, where is the critical debate with Mr. Wodarg? People are always berating the "system media", saying that you should get alternative information. But who scrutinizes the alternative news portals? Are there any alternative media that scrutinize the alternative media?
Mr. Wodarg is always celebrated on YT, but there are no critical voices or discussions among his videos. Who says he is telling the truth?
Does Bodo Schiffmann always tell the truth or does he simply make assertions that are then regarded as "truth"? The list goes on and on. The same applies to Mr. Lauterbach. But my point is that both sides should be critically scrutinized and not just one side at a time.
Then do it! You now have both offers. Mainstream media and others. You have to think for yourself.
I would also like to thank you very much for your work, which was very informative for me. I hope that more lawyers will exert pressure on politicians and prosecute them for serious mistakes in a similar way to board members in business. In my opinion, those responsible for the shock strategy of the Federal Ministry of the Interior should be brought to justice. I am firmly convinced that this very bad time will also be over one day and that nobody will be telling us anything about a "new normality".

I would like to make it clear at this point that it would be important NOT to use the term "conspiracy theorist" anymore. Because anyone who can still think clearly will always look back in history and realize that every major decision, every war required a public narrative that did not correspond to the truth. (e.g. incubator lie - Iraq war or attack on the Gleiwitz transmitter - Second World War, Reichstag fire - authorization... etc.) Why should we, for the first time in human history, be living in a time in which the official narratives correspond to the truth?
I therefore recommend that anyone who wants to know more about the context should take a look at the plans of the World Economic Forum and the 2030 Agenda. And then you should ask yourself whether these plans, which can be implemented in the best possible way, really promise a future worth striving for. And I am of the opinion that you don't have to implement everything just because it is technically possible or because someone else would do it. You should always ask yourself who actually benefits from something new or what it is actually needed for. A lot of things are sold to us as "safety", "protection", "health" and "making life easier in general" that we don't actually need, nor do they actually correspond to what they are being spent on. And it rarely leads to more humanity in a positive sense.
The use of "conspiracy theorist", however, is for me an attempt to discredit someone who doesn't believe the official narrative. And instead of distancing yourself from this term, you could also say, yes, I am one of those people who critically scrutinizes things. Because if you think you always have to emphasize that you are not a "conspiracy theorist", you are playing exactly this game of discrediting, aren't you?
I agree with her view of what is happening and find her formulation extremely successful. The 4th industrial revolution should be discussed in the interests of the population just as much as the money and financial system.

Yesterday I told my 10-year-old daughter about the fall of the Berlin Wall. It didn't fall because of Gorbachev or Schabowski. It fell because long before that, courageous people rebelled against it again and again, fled across the Hungarian border and finally occupied the Prague embassy and much more. These were the real heroes, not those who flocked to the barriers on the day the border was opened. And it will be the same this time. The masses will one day benefit from the courageous people of today ... and won't want to know about it.

In principle, this seems important to me: the issue of Sars-CoV-2 is medically very complex; an appropriate corona policy would have to be very differentiated. It does not: it causes immeasurable damage, economically, socially and psychologically, with dubious medical success.
