Dear Ms. Buyx,
I confess that I had to let your statement sink in. I didn't have the words. I often don't have the words when I'm affected by something. Whenever I am really affected, I can't express my dismay in words. Now, with distance, I have found my language again. I share your desire to come to terms with things and would like to reach out to you. I am a little surprised at your passive formulation. Has it been taken from you? As a medical ethicist and Chair of the Ethics Council, who is taking away your right to reappraisal? That is your job. And between you and me, Ms. Buyx. For two years you hardly missed a talk show, hardly a TV interview and were in Germany's newspapers almost every day. Why not now? Proactively, so to speak. That's what they say these days. I'm taking a step towards you because we have this common desire to come to terms with the past. For me, it's more of a cry than a wish. Let's open the Pandora's box together. Horrible statements follow. There are also medical misrepresentations. I would like to leave the following quotes uncommented for the sake of fairness. The small list of quotes is chronological, incomplete and limited to the year 2021.
"Every dose must go into one arm (...) Yes. There is a moral duty to be vaccinated."

Dear Ms. Buyx. The quotes are taken out of context like most quotes. Perhaps I have misunderstood you. Perhaps I am doing you an injustice, because I am a human being who makes mistakes. Besides, I am neither a medical doctor nor an ethicist. I am merely an observant, language-sensitive person. As such, I notice that you regularly respond with "we as a society" when asked about your personal responsibility and that of the Ethics Council. You also like to use the word "actually". I read that you actually had the needs of young people and children in mind the whole time. I seem to have missed that. In other words, the needs and fears of children who have been permanently tested, permanently masked, traumatized, isolated and vaccinated without need. Speaking of children? What do you think about the sharp drop in birth rates since the end of 2021?
You will soon be able to answer these and other questions. You can also correct unjustified statements on my part. We are united by a strong desire to come to terms with the past. So offer We give you a stage. We invite you to the Congress of Clear Words on November 4, 2023. (6) Believe it or not - we would treat you fairly. Definitely fairer than I have done in this column. That could have a cleansing effect on you, on me and on many other people in Germany. That's called catharsis! It's an ethical term.

Couldn't the lady be employed to do a few thousand community service hours in the care of people who have been vaccinated? This would allow her to contribute ethically to the process.
The "Pandora's box" ... yes, the beautiful German language suggested this wonderful phrase to me early and often. It's nice to find it used so well here! By contrast, the Berlin term "Geisel der Menscheit" (hostage of humanity), which is as selective as it is "proactive" and only works against the democratic and liberal parts of society, has now disappeared from the scene ...
Mal abgesehen von der o.g. Person gab es heute in unserer Fasanerie, einem schönen Tierpark, eine schier unglaubliche Aussage eines ca. 7 jährigen Jungen zu seinem Großvater. Der Großvater wollte den Tierpark verlassen, das Kind noch nicht. Unwillig sagte es zum offensichtlichen Großvater: „Du willst doch nur die Uschi flachlegen“… Noch bemerkenswerter war die Antwort des Großvaters: „Für dich immer noch die Oma“…
Wir standen unmittelbar daneben, daher keine Interpretation möglich. Noch Fragen zum partiellen Zustand unserer Gesellschaft, für die wir uns ja damals aus „Solidarität impfen“ lassen sollten?
I just don't have any clever words for the potentially prospective behavior of a character zero in the driverseat of the so-called Ethics Committee. Regardless of whether she comes or not, regardless of whether she has anything to say or not, regardless of what her politically ideoligized words have to convey or not - it will be a pure waste of time.
The audacity of this woman's words cannot be surpassed, they can only be topped by "I love all people". @Wolfgang: Especially the second quote above from Ms. Buyx about dealing with the disabled would have made an arrest necessary even back then.
Bevor dieser Person eine Bühne geboten wird, wäre vielleicht erst einmal zu klären, welche Sachverhalte sie genau meint, die ihrer Meinung nach „gemeinsam aufzuarbeiten und zu heilen“ seien. Sie vermeidet in dem ZDF-Interview ganz bewusst eine konkrete Benennung dieser Dinge. Gemeint sind aber ganz sicher nicht die verheerenden Impfschäden, die psychischen Schäden, die Familiendramen, die Suizide etc.. Das Bedauern von Frau Buyx scheint ohnehin nicht dieser völlig verfehlten Corona-Politik zu gelten, sondern dürfte sich lediglich auf selektierte Folgen beschränken, welche dann selbstverständlich auch noch unvermeidbar waren.
By speaking retrospectively of unrequited solidarity, Ms. Buyx brazenly insinuates that children voluntarily consent to all measures. On the subject of early sexual education, in particular early sexualization of children, similarly worrying efforts can be observed at the highest international levels (WHO, UNESCO, etc.). The fundamental paedosexual problem within relevant influential circles is nothing new in principle. What is new, however, is the progression of the process of a creeping dissolution of children's need for protection. This began eleven years ago in connection with the circumcision debate and later with the discussion about Islamic child marriages. I can neither judge nor rule out whether Ms Buyx is now aware of this.
However, anyone who considers Ms. Buyx to be a serious discussion partner has, in my opinion, lost from the outset. She did not become Chair of the Ethics Council in a free and independent manner, but was appointed to it to protect political interests. She is a master at wrapping herself in superficial, insubstantial phrases - i.e. blah-blah - and thus making herself as tangible as a bar of soap. I can quite happily do without meeting her. In the end, it would be nothing but a waste of time.
Yes, things have gone quiet around Ms. Buyx. I didn't like her in the talk shows, no matter what kind. It would be nice to see what she has to say about it today. As Chair of the Ethics Council, I would have expected more ethics. I agree with the previous speaker. These things must not go unpunished.
Brilliant idea, dear Mr. Löcke. I would also like to discuss with Ms. Buyx at the Congress about the non-evidence of her statements and how she can reconcile it with her conscience to have accepted several honors in recent years.
.....toller Artikel.....It's incredible that Ms. Buyx, after the damage she has caused and after it is now indisputably clear that she lied, still dares to speak out publicly.....but she doesn't have to fear any critical questions from ARD and ZDF.
I am curious to see whether Ms. Buyx accepts the invitation. She could then prove how serious her desire to come to terms with the past and her efforts to avoid repeating mistakes she has made really are.
The public appearances of Wieler, Spahn and Buyx have put me off giving the jab, even though as an old man I am one of the vulnerable. But anyone who vaccinates children with an inadequately tested vaccine against a disease that does not pose a serious threat to them, I don't believe a word they say. And I have done very well with it. Healthy and not a guinea pig!
The cynicism with which so-called experts talk their way out of this, regardless of the crime they committed against the German people, is unbelievable. Coming to terms with this perverse dark chapter can only end in a life sentence. There is no mercy and no forgetting.
They will be granted mitigating circumstances because this pandemic was new and unique and they did not know any better. See the Nuremberg trials.
