Raise the curtain!

by Peter Löcke //

The suffering of the not-so-young Stokowski! What untalented dramaturge wrote the play that premiered on the BPK stage? What an embarrassing start to the series of 84 planned stories as part of the new "Ich schütze mich" advertising campaign.
Curtain up! On the podium are co-director and actor Karl L. and amateur actress Margarete S. Author and Spiegel columnist Stokowski introduces herself as a deterrent to Long Covid. With dark circles under her eyes, she struggles for every letter. You instinctively want to take the woman in your arms, hand her a tissue and a glass of water. That is human. It would also have been human to immediately see through the unbelievable stupidity of this production.
According to her own statement, Margarete S.'s long Covid suffering began after (!) her booster in January 2022. Until then, like many young women, she had only taken medication for her thyroid disease, but otherwise had no health problems, "no relevant pre-existing conditions" [sic]. So far so strange for any halfway intelligent homo sapiens. It gets even stranger if you know, or spend even twenty minutes researching, what Margarete S. has been writing about regularly for years. About depression, including her own. Here is an excerpt from a Concern column from the year 2021.
"I actually did the whole reading journey for my first book five years ago with depression, and it was a strange experience."
It becomes downright bizarre when you realize that the symptoms of depression and hypothyroidism are congruent with the symptoms of the "new disease" Long Covid. How practical! To put it differently and unfortunately vulgarly: with an advertising budget of 33 million euros, can't I expect to be screwed a little more intelligently?
If we were in the feuilleton genre, the Reich-Ranickis of this world who are still alive would tear the poor script of this drama to shreds and warn against attending the next 83 events. Unfortunately, this is the genre of politics and the Federal Press Conference stage. On this stage, the critics are now part of the production. Now that the Reitschusters and Florian Warwegs have been disposed of, only claqueurs remain. They are already asking longingly for a drug called Paxlovid. A Lauterbach is not allowed to actively advertise this without making himself liable to prosecution. Keyword: Therapeutic Products Advertising Act. However, he is allowed to answer journalistic questions about the drug. A rogue who thinks evil of that. But stop! There was a positive media example in the hall during the premiere. It is still just a tender journalistic plant.
The journalist's name is Britta Spiekermann and she works for the ZDF Capital Studio. As one of the few, sometimes the only person in the room, she does not wear a mask to show her humility during the BPKs. In other words, she sets herself apart from the other journalists just visually. Actually a matter of course, courageous today, because it is always courageous to swim against the tide. Accordingly, Britta Spiekermann is the only one to question the Spiegel columnist's Oscar-worthy performance and wants to know whether Stokowski is not having second thoughts because she was not protected despite being vaccinated. What follows reflects the grotesque nature of the entire play. A play somewhere between tragedy and comedy. The amateur actress Margarete S. stutters out a shrugging "I don't know" until co-director Lauterbach jumps to her side with an unspecified study to save the only dicey situation. After all, even well-rehearsed plays need a prompter.
Thank you, Ms. Spiekermann. Thank you also for the subsequent ZDF article "He warns again" is reminiscent of journalism. It doesn't take much imagination to guess that Ms. Spiekermann will now be facing headwinds. Stand your ground! Stay by the campfire of the sensible!
The bonfire of the sensible! Karl Lauterbach used this image of all things for the new vaccination campaign. You could almost laugh about it if it wasn't so sad. At the unsuccessful BPK kick-off event, I involuntarily thought of a Woody Allen classic. In the movie "The Last Night of Boris Grushenko", there was a congress of all the village idiots of Russia. I'm looking forward to the next 83 congresses in Berlin and hope for a better script the next time the curtain goes up. With a budget of 33 million euros, you can expect a little more as a paying customer.

  1. hello
... I consider the majority of our fellow citizens to be extremely naive! They are idiots who have abdicated their own responsibility like little children.
no more thinking for yourself. that's how shit happens
wünsche euch allen „Vernünftigen“ schöne Tagen in stürmischen Zeiten.
Cheer up, it could be worse. It will get worse. They're not finished yet.

  2. KL's letter-writing campaign has already swallowed up 50 million and now another 33 million for a chamber play by two washed-up leading actors,
This fall won't be hot but it will be expensive!

  3. I didn't really want to write anything more about COVID-19. After two years of intensive research on the topic, including a collection of 590 essays and studies, I was done with the topic in all its aspects. I was able to sit back, relax and enjoy the performance of the smear piece - "The fear of the rulers of and with COVID 19". I couldn't discuss my findings with anyone directly. Because even rational people don't like to admit that they've been taken for a ride across the board. And even took part in it. Except for my internist from earlier times, who also combed through hundreds of studies and publications in his own blog and shared my critical opinion. I am at odds with my best friend, who called me a "corona denier" back in 2020. And that was only because I insisted that "differentiated measures for differentiated target groups", a standard phrase in modern marketing, should also apply to modern, evidence-based medicine. And that "one size fits all" was now definitely outdated. These two sentences should also be borne in mind by all GPs who push injections into the arms of infants and young adults without taking a medical history. Their actions exemplify the fact that doctors are no smarter than other people.
Only the performance by Karl & Magarethe can draw me out of my shell. This kind of smear theater in this place shows that the actors believe they have all the journalists in the bag. Which is almost true. And that they can simply do what they want without fear of consequences because they are the government without opposition and without media control.
"Power corrupts. And absolute power corrupts absolutely," said Lord Acton. But at some point, all power ends. And then there will be a rude awakening for the journos and political masters.

P.S. My friend has been suffering from myocarditis since the third injection. According to him, this is due to the corona infection he had after the second injection. But never, ever from the vaccination. He's as sure about that as Margaret.

    1. Dear Mr. Zorn,
I had also repeatedly created a kind of collection as an argumentation aid, but then deleted it again because I told myself that this information would not be received and that any factual discussion was now superfluous. Let everyone make their own experiences and draw their own conclusions, whatever they may be.

    2. „… kommt nie und nimmer von der Impfung“

Yes, self-esteem needs that. People don't like to admit, even to themselves, that they have been taken in by fraudsters and that their exemplary behavior was actually stupidity and followership.

PS I belong to the control group.

– Niemals.

  4. In view of the current findings on vaccination side effects, Ms. Stokowski's suffering is actually trivial, but the majority of vaccination lemmings will still get the next booster as a precaution. Cheers!

  5. I think it's enough now, more than enough. Apparently there are still remnants of journalism in the quality media, which is good and fully appreciated. But is taking up this stage again to dumb down the people the right way? Hasn't it long been about further development, about presenting alternatives? Shouldn't we be developing something new instead of forever running against what is outdated and has long been recognized as wrong? If we really believe another world is possible, why don't we live it? We will not move the inert masses through the pressure of reality, but we will certainly suck them in through the negative pressure of something better, as the simple-minded always seek the path of simplicity. This is a mindset that the less simple-minded should bear in mind, perhaps many things are not as complicated as they are believed to be. The challenges we face need our full attention. The solution lies in the future, whether this requires visions or just common sense? I am in favor of starting with common sense, even if many students will be a little unfamiliar with it at first.

    1. Dear Dr. Wessel,

      1. Yes, dear Mr. Linsner,
I am also amazed, and have been for some time now. After thinking about it for a while, one of the things that amazes me is my naivety, which has made me insensitive to the inconsistencies that have always existed. I should have noticed thirty years ago that the whole medical system is the way it is, because all the "health reforms" have never been about quality but always about money. Doctors became service providers, partly because many of them saw no other viable survival strategy in hospitals and practices. For decades, the selection of young people who want to study medicine has essentially been based on numerus clausus. With ever-increasing shortages in medical care, why is it necessary to prevent medical students from studying at all? Instead, only those doctors who have performed particularly well in the strictly hierarchical school system without much questioning are allowed to become doctors; whether they are really suitable is less important. This unfortunate selection procedure has been in place for over forty years and after many generations of students. Most medical students in my day memorized multiple choice questions instead of studying medicine, only particularly able students could afford to build up their knowledge and understanding and then face this ludicrous examination system. It certainly didn't make a scientific education any easier, but why should it? Healthcare providers see science through different eyes than doctors. The same naturally applies to their view of the patients entrusted to them. I believe they are called service recipients in the relevant legal texts... . It doesn't always have to stay that way; the recipients can decide whether they would rather be patients again. That would be a powerful drive in the right direction. I think many service providers would also like to be doctors again.
        Get well soon H.W..

        1. Hello Mr. Wessel,

  6. ...and I had already added under the last column that Margarete Stokowski actually serves as a prime example: The vaccine is not effective for the intended purpose (otherwise she would have been protected and not fallen ill) and the vaccine is not safe either - nobody can rule out for sure that the symptoms described may not also be a consequence of the vaccination...

Unglaublich stark. Ich hätte mich dabei gebogen vor Lachen.

  8. Lauterbach's campfire is that of the millions and millions of German village idiots who need such bad productions to stay nice and hot in their delusion, which has now been fueled for two and a half years. Whether Ms. S. and Mr. L. need it themselves or just the recognition and/or the money doesn't matter at all. Nor do they care about us, who as outsiders watch the abstruse mumbo-jumbo without understanding. The only meaningful purpose of the whole thing comes to mind: The listlessly blazing campfire quite successfully keeps all those gathered around it warming themselves in a circle by making it increasingly difficult for them to step out into the cold reality.

  9. Thank you Mr. Löcke,
Mr. L. had better warn other people about himself.
It's really hilarious, if it weren't so sad.
