Recognizing media manipulation

Have you ever thought about whether the preparation and staging of TV images or moving images on online platforms alone could influence your thinking, your assessment of the content of the article? Recognize the techniques.
We know from numerous letters that this video has enabled many people to recognize for the first time how image selection, image editing and the structure of contributions in TV reporting or news editing can subversively manipulate the viewer. This video, which is only a few months old, is still highly topical every day. I have put it on the homepage again.
Images are overpowering in these times and I would like to use a moving image example to train your eye for manipulation techniques in the moving image environment. We are not pursuing any ideological or ideological goals; we want to encourage you to think critically for yourself and sharpen your judgment. #hink for yourself

  1. Very good and valuable contribution. And so necessary in these times, which now require even more urgent clarification than a year ago. Thank you very much and keep up the courage and clarity in your work.

  2. I would be in favor of more of them.
Maybe you can pick apart a few more of these programs.
Also like something like these mainstream talk shows, where everything is planned out and just a massive propaganda program disguised as an opinion debate.

    Thank you for the clarification.

  3. Thank you very much for this look at the subliminal mechanisms of action in image contributions.
I find the sharpened view very valuable when thinking for myself.
I also like M. Langemann's accentuated, factual and at the same time lively language, the clear separation of information and facts from the conclusion drawn from the observations, as well as the transparent, comprehensible naming of the sources of information.
I am happy to make my comment with the intention of promoting the good.

  4. Thank you very much for this work and clarification.
In our media age, this kind of content should also be part of the curriculum in our schools. # learning to think for yourself
Please keep up the good work!

  5. It has a lot to do with Platonic epistemology, because our professional politicians have developed an image of the "human being/voter" that doesn't really exist. The synchronization of media and politics has led to a mass "deceived reality", which also leads to people no longer thinking in their individuality. They see what they have experienced themselves as smaller and less valuable than the opinion of the masses. This actually reveals more than a society that does not think, namely a cowardly society. However, the commitment shown here proves that there are still Davids who want to show the Goliaths. I think that's very good, because I want to live the way I think is right based on my education and experience and not the way professional politicians with less life skills want to dictate to me.

Thank you, I can only say.
I feel like I'm in wartime, even though I haven't experienced war. Such propaganda, you don't think you're living in 2020. I wonder if these people can still look at themselves in the mirror in the morning.

  7. Thank you very much!
However, I came across your article through the teacher MaPhy, so to speak!
I would like to like or subscribe to you!
    Is that possible?

  8. Many, many thanks that you exist, since the discovery of the "clubderklarenworte" I am very impressed by your way of reporting. Thank you and please continue

Welcome to this platform for the cultivated exchange of arguments.

We have forgotten how to endure contradiction. It is okay to disagree here. I would like to ask you to remain respectful and polite. Insults and hate comments will be removed in future, as will calls to vote for political parties. I reserve the right to delete insulting or derogatory comments. This public forum and its inherent opportunity to exchange arguments and opinions is an attempt to uphold freedom of expression - including freedom of dissent. I would like to see the old-fashioned virtue of respect cultivated here.

"Controversy is not an annoying evil, but a necessary prerequisite for the success of democracy." Federal President Dr. h.c. Joachim Gauck (ret.), only 5 years ago in his speech on the Day of the Basic Law.
