Climate change is currently more present in the media than ever before, although temperatures are currently still below those of previous warm periods [1]. But what are the reasons why the earth is warming, and is this happening at all?
First of all, there are many natural causes for the Earth to warm up or cool down. One significant influencing factor, for example, is the sun, primarily via solar cycles [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]. The water vapor content of the atmosphere also influences the Earth's temperature [8, 9, 10]. These and other factors are among those that influence the Earth's temperature: CO2 tends not to be one of them [11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 36]; accordingly, emissions from private cars and private households are not an issue, nor is agriculture [16, 17], even if people want to convince us of this thesis [18]. On the contrary, there is currently even a debate as to whether CO2 has a positive effect on the environment and promotes plant growth: When there is more CO2 in the atmosphere, plants grow better and plants absorb CO2, i.e. a self-regulating cycle effect is created [19].
There are also man-made causes of global warming [21]. One of these is probably a measurement artifact, i.e. it may not be getting warmer at all, it is just being measured incorrectly (intentionally or unintentionally), thereby giving the impression that warming is taking place [22, 35]. In addition, the climate measures themselves, namely wind farms, could also be responsible for global warming [23, 24].
But how warm is it anyway? The feared trend of a rapidly warming Earth, melting polar ice caps and rising sea levels is currently not the case [25, 26, 27, 32, 33], temperatures are surprisingly moderate compared to previous warm periods (see Fig. 1) [28, 29, 35, 37], there are even record cold temperatures [30]. Currently, many scientists even reject the theory of man-made global warming [31].

The current trend shows a slight rise in temperature until 2030 and then a cooling [38], due to a solar minimum [39, 40]. The effects of global warming, if it is so massive at all, are currently rather small; sea levels, for example, are rising much more slowly than predicted [41, 42]. Warm periods in ancient Rome, for example, had no negative effects on health [43]. In contrast, the consequences of exaggerated or misguided measures seem to be much worse, similar to Corona [44]. The population expects rising prices [45], rising taxes [46, 52], mobility restrictions [47, 48, 49, 51, 64], food shortages [50, 67], economic recession [53, 56], environmental damage [53, 57, 58], increased spending on climate measures [54, 55], energy shortages [58, 59, 66], health damage caused by climate lockdowns, wind energy and photovoltaics [44, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63] and possibly even actual global warming caused by wind turbines [23, 24, 66].
At the same time that the threat of global warming is actually relatively low, there is a kind of media hysteria with a panic effect, censorship and false information [68, 71]. Unsubstantiated or inaccurate claims of increased child mortality due to air pollution are made [75], scientific studies are withdrawn [76], measured temperature data is denied [80]; however, little is read about the fact that extreme weather events are currently on the decline [77, 82]. In any case, inflation is not caused by climate change [78], and more research is obviously needed on "climate diseases" before a link between tick-borne diseases and climate change can be proven [79]. The public's knowledge of the relationships underlying the Earth's temperature is most likely rather low [81]. This is hardly surprising given that a recently released film on the subject was censored [83] and the media narrative appears to be fixed.
Funding streams are interesting. The climate seniors, for example, are financed by Greenpeace [70], and the Greta Thunberg Foundation donates generously to various measures and projects. You cannot find out where the money comes from on the foundation's website [69]. The media hype in the area of climate is fueled by those who also have financial interests [68].
Some regions of the world defy the conventional narrative. [31]. The Global South ignores CO2 and climate alarmism [72], and Florida is currently officially rejecting the narrative of man-made climate change and has banned offshore wind farms [73]. A large number of scientists are also calling for an end to "climate hysteria" [74].
It is certainly important to protect the environment, and renewable energies are an option, but perhaps not in the form of blind (climate) activism, but with moderation and reason, taking into account the various factors and mechanisms involved and the scientific (!) literature.

This is the biggest rip-off of all time and I wish the plague on anyone who wants to sell this idea.
There is climate change, no question about it.
And this has been the case for around 4.8 billion years. We
have been observing the climate since (generously
calculated) approx. 200 years. In addition
we occasionally find much older recordings of
Weather phenomena that occasionally
have taken place, we say again
800 years ago. This period in the
Ratio to 4.8 billion years is
simply without any informative value.
So we actually imagine that in
irgendeiner Weise „wichtig“ zu sein. Das ist
simply ridiculous.
Kilma change is not man-made,
Or to put it another way: our share is simply
irrelevant.
What is happening here is alarmism, because
meanwhile extremely many people very well
can make a living from it. There is a
Giant industry created, everything financed
from the stupid taxpayer.
Politicians have completely failed if they
sich von sogenannten „Aktivisten“ vorführen
lets.
Funnily enough, all these activities take place
only takes place in affluent countries or in
Countries where such people are allowed
leaves. I call that:
Neglect of prosperity.

If you had written an article claiming that Paris Hilton's dog had toe rot, there would surely have been 1000 more comments. Ok, just a prediction....
In any case, I find the article good and informative. Nicely summarized, the nonsense of this time sickness "Save the world from climate change! CO2 is a climate killer!"

The article misses the point of the topic by far, because it doesn't really clarify the issue, but instead maintains the usual ambiguity.
1. the statistics were all fudged afterwards to give the impression of an increase over the last 150 years. The raw data refute this claim.
2. physically, all claims about warming caused by CO2 or even only by CO2 emitted by humans are absolutely false, because they are lies, but packaged in a pseudo-scientific way.
3. all forecasts of a supposed increase are also speculative and wrong.
What has really been taking place for decades and is responsible for all extreme weather events is CLIMATE CONTROL!
Climate control serves military and commercial purposes and is the control of the water cycle. It is therefore decided where and to what intensity it may or may not rain, snow or hail in a region.
Commercially, it is about securing the water supply for oil and gas production through unconventional (nuclear) fracking and large-scale industrial agriculture, as well as other industries.
For our habitat, it is about sacrificing our climate security, agriculture, forestry etc. so that our energy security can be guaranteed by fracking in Arabia and North Africa. In addition, we now get a large proportion of our food from these regions.
Understanding the connections is accelerated by viewing the evidence on the ground. Please take a closer look at satellite maps of Arabia and North Africa and also observe the precipitation and industrial agriculture there! All this data is available to everyone thanks to the internet.
I am not providing links here so that this comment will be unlocked faster, but will comment afterwards with links to my articles explaining the methods based on physical and meteorological knowledge, quoting and translating official historical documents and pointing out evidence, including the water infrastructure built in Arabia since 1991 with over 230 artificial lakes and dams and thousands of kilometers of water pipeline network.
Multicausality and multiple correlations are far too complicated for most people. And they don't even have to be university dropouts, just textbook-impaired. Because even there the world is threateningly simple.
For green believers, man-made climate change can only take place in distant regions, where the sea level rises separately as if there were no communicating pipes. So there's no need to discuss the cold May, instead you can listen to Annalena's explanation of the situation in the Far East from your armchair and pedal against it on your cargo bike.
In the past, talking about the weather was an embarrassing topic, but today it can be used to reveal the right view of the world.
I find it very regrettable that the whole climate issue is only ever focused on man-made climate change caused by CO2. In this respect, I agree with Dr. Weber that CO2 plays a subordinate role.
So far I have hardly ever read any thoughts on the fact that the current climate change is actually man-made to an (in)certain extent, because the human influence factor in the last 100 years alone should not be insignificant due to the world population of now over 8 billion. Around 1900, the world population was only 1.65 billion. What does that mean? Urbanization on an unprecedented scale has taken place over the past 100 years. The growth of rural settlements, but above all of cities, was enormous. At the same time, prosperity increased significantly. This had a serious impact on nature and the environment through (the following list is incomplete)
- Surface sealing due to residential and industrial construction, including roads, resulting in temperature increases
- Deforestation, with the consequence of reducing climate-stabilizing factors,
- Reduction of other green spaces, thereby also reducing climate-stabilizing factors,
- Conversion of agriculture to industrial production with huge monocultures or huge areas of fallow land between the main vegetation periods,
- Expansion of the cultivation of plants for food production and feed supply instead of biodiversity,
- artificial irrigation for higher yields, resulting in the drying up of watercourses and inland lakes,
- Development of huge areas for mining, especially open-cast mines, for the extraction of raw materials, as well as oil and gas fields
- last, but not least, modern air traffic with thousands of daily flights with jets whose contrails act like artificial high-altitude clouds that allow short-wave high-energy solar radiation to pass through, but partially prevent the heat radiation of the earth with longer wavelengths.
The issue of climate change is therefore far more complex than we are told, but it is a huge business model with immense profit margins for big business.
Ein schöner Artikel. Interessant wäre auch zu wissen, welchen Einfluß Geoengineering auf das Klima nimmt und inwieweit es zur Durchsetzung “ gewisser “ Interessen durch das Herbeiführen von Wetter-katastrophen genutzt wird.
Climate change? Of course the climate is constantly changing. We had the last moraines of the Ice Age glaciers in the north of Hamburg 30,000 years ago. In 1756, more people froze to death in northern Germany in the cold winters of the Little Ice Age than Hamburg had inhabitants. And around 1150, people did not freeze to death in their cold castles only because the temperature was probably 4 degrees higher than today. Without any industrial CO2. Of course, only a few people know this because our education is so poor. The educated people of the Renaissance had more knowledge about their time at the age of 17 than the semi-educated people of today at the end of their lives. Of course, politics can tell them everything. Because they literally know nothing anymore.

Who knows the answer to everything? Those who believe that are at best untrustworthy and at worst dishonest. The issue of climate change is over, at least for me. A man-made stone wall has just been found off the coast of Mecklenburg at a depth of twenty meters, Bronze Age or Stone Age, I can't remember exactly. This means that the sea level has risen by twenty meters without man-made carbon dioxide. Anyone and everyone in their right mind can draw conclusions from this. I am firmly convinced that we are experiencing constant change - and not just in the climate. William Shakespeare: "This is the plague of our time: the mad lead the blind." Unfortunately, this doesn't change as often as it should.
