One trial. Two verdicts. Sucharit Bhakdi remains innocent and guilty. Here the court acquittal of the charge of incitement to hatred. There the media guilty verdict across the board. Guilty in the sense of the media agitators. Guilty in the sense of the accusers. From A for ARD to Z for Zeit.
On May 23, 2023, there will be a showdown in the tranquil district court in Plön. The protagonists? The defendant Sucharit Bhakdi and his lawyers Tobias Weissenborn, Sven Lausen and Martin Schwab. The three defenders are - what else? - as controversial. Their legal opponent is senior public prosecutor Silke Füssinger. She is a passionate campaigner against extremism, an anti-Semitism commissioner with a zero-tolerance strategy. I find that commendable. Silke Füssinger is therefore undisputed. And she is also bound by instructions. Judge Dr. Malte Grundmann has to decide. Right at the beginning of the Kafka trial, he lets it be known that the prosecution has little chance of success. The defense lawyers argue that the case should not be heard at all. After all, a previous court had already dismissed an indictment on the grounds of hot air. This court does not. Evidence is taken.
The facts and evidence are two videos of allegedly anti-Semitic statements made by Bhakdi in 2021. One is an interview with Kai Stuht. He used to be a star photographer and today - what else? - from the dangerous milieu of conspiracy believers. The other video shows Bhakdi giving a speech to the ominous lateral thinker party Die Basis. From here on, I will abbreviate the further course of the trial.
Senior public prosecutor Silke Füssinger does not know the context of the statements made despite months of preparation. So the videos are watched in their entirety in court. The recordings show the accused as Gandhi rather than Goebbels. That is obvious to any viewer. Ms. Füssinger would nevertheless like to call a commissioner to testify as to how often the videos were viewed. Without words! In preparation for her summation, the senior public prosecutor requests an hour, later a postponement. In this plea, Silke Füssinger at least requests a fine. What won't you do to save face? The trial ends with Bhakdi's acquittal, which Judge Dr. Malte Grundmann had already indicated at the beginning.
But a guilty verdict across the board in the media. From the protagonists of the film to the backdrop. In attendance are around 300 of Bhakdi's supporters who want to give him moral support. These mostly elderly ladies and gentlemen are kept in check by a host of police officers. Did I say supporters? No. They are, of course, believers who follow their religious leader Sucharit Bhakdi. That is one of the later media messages. There must be no picture-text gap. The corresponding images are quickly in the box. Namaste! The Indian greeting from the self-confessed Buddhist really does look quite esoteric. Plus the viral photo of the woman kneeling before Bhakdi in the courtroom. Isn't this the final proof that the pompous doctor is a guru and his followers are cult members? How this devout private individual made it into the small courtroom, from which most of the journalists had to leave due to overcrowding, and whether the lady is Tamara K is beyond my knowledge. I only know about the subsequent media accusations of guilt.
In case of doubt for the swearer. The taz, for example. The rest of the inflammatory media abyss in a nutshell. Bhakdi, the religiously revered icon of corona deniers and lateral thinkers. The anti-Semite Bhakdi is acquitted of the accusation of anti-Semitism. The inciter Bhakdi is acquitted of the charge of incitement to hatred. The highly controversial doctor Bhakdi, who has repeatedly made false medical claims, is released. All the leading media outlets have failed to answer the question as to which false medical allegations were made. Perhaps Bhakdi's core claim that 98% of all infections are either asymptomatic or have a mild course. After all, the renowned RKI said in 2020 that one in five people who test positive suffer a severe to fatal course. Perhaps it was also Bhakdi's assertion that there would be widespread cross-immunity in the population if normal cold coronaviruses met the supposed corona death virus. Christian Drosten contradicted this at the time. Do you remember? This is the submerged, religiously revered icon of the leading media. In the year 2023, "the" science, have Leading researchers found out what Sucharit Bhakdi already knew in 2020 and Drosten denied.
Has the rule of law won? No. In a functioning constitutional state, this show trial would not have happened. It was grotesque and Kafkaesque and full of ironies. Is it not a stylistic device of the state fact-checkers to relativize even the declaration of war by a foreign minister with the killer argument "lack of context"? In this case, the state-appointed lawyer did not even bother to look at the context of the statements in advance. To this day, the state virologist Christian Drosten is uncritically supported and even religiously revered by the leading media despite dozens of proven false statements. The same media suspect religious reverence in every approval of Bhakdi. Psychology has a term for this. Projection.
After the trial, Bhakhdi, the Buddhist defamed as an agitator, said that the feeling of hatred was completely alien to him. Not to me, I must confess. Are there such people? In summer 2020, I saw a longer interview with Sucharit Bhakdi. There, the professor was confronted with malicious, patronizing comments from Christian Drosten. Bhakdi responded objectively and empathetically, provided arguments and invited Drosten to a discussion. I couldn't have done that. I would have been angry and outraged. Perhaps even hateful.
Germany's number one virologist has still not accepted the offer to talk. Just as he has avoided any public discussion with a dissenter in his weight class for three years. To this day, Christian Drosten has not had to answer for his false medical claims or for his agitation. Namaste!

There was a point at which we were almost all helpless. I experienced the beginning of the pandemic on vacation in Rome. Military vehicles everywhere, ready to lock down. Then back home in Germany. Hysteria. Bang, all the news channels were full of doom and gloom. Only a vaccination can still protect us and save our lives. Images of doom and gloom, coffins, dead bodies everywhere. The look on Mrs. Merkel's face, even though she knew we were being taken for a ride. That's when I started to look at all aspects of this pandemic from a scientific perspective. I had an open mind. There were a lot of stories at the beginning that irritated me. In the end, Mr. Bhakdi's explanations were clearer and more well-founded than anything that was communicated to the people by political media representatives. During this time, there were at least five people who convinced me with their scientifically balanced, non-pharmaceutical and power-political interests. For me, this included Clemens G. Arvay in particular with his book: Corona vaccines: rescue or risk. The documentation of Dr. Haditsch. I am grateful for the people who have the courage to use their knowledge to make a major contribution to ensuring that we still have the opportunity, if we want it, .........................................
The only poem that comes to mind is the one from "Sämtliche Menschen" by Eugen Roth (1935):
False suspicion
A person usually has the overpowering
Natural urge to suspect others.
The file folder has been misplaced.
Ask them, headless and excited,
and already swears it was stolen,
and already wants to call the police.
And from now on knows everything,
that the whole world only steals and robs.
And surely it was the Lord,
who, while apparently he read -
He suspects exactly how it happened...
The folder? Oh, there it is!
All the effort was unnecessary
and the whole world becomes honest again.
But the supposedly cheeky thief
is never completely loved again,
because he accepted the folder,
she really would have gotten away -
and he dares to bet on it -
would have stolen!
One cannot shake off the feeling that this coalition of traffic lights is leaving every state institution damaged - including the rule of law.

We should get rid of unskilled people, bluffers, philosophers and storybook writers in power rather than free science and freedom of opinion, without which democratic discourse is impossible. Elon Musk has recognized this, but our elected democracy-swearers in Germany and the EU have not even begun to do so.
Dear Dr. Aßmann,
Unfortunately, traffic light bashing does not help here and is also too short-sighted. Likewise the call for science in the political caste. After all, it was the black physicist who, with her urgent appeals to the nation, frightened large sections of the population to such an extent that they submitted to bans on going out. It was this same politician who, in her irrational fear of a meltdown, pushed for the phase-out of nuclear energy.
In my view, there are four essential approaches to countering the increasing alienation of civic reality and political decisions:
- a strong and critical media landscape that makes it possible for citizens to escape from their (nowadays only partially) "self-inflicted immaturity".
- broad-based advisory boards that enable discourse again and no 4 to 1 majorities, as seen in the advisory board of the "Corona measures"
- The German fully comprehensive insurance mentality, which begins with climbing frames in kindergartens that are closed due to incorrect fall protection mats and Sunday cyclists wearing vests in the sunshine, is visible to everyone.
- and, last but not least, the clear encounter with professional politicians, whose own system revolves solely around themselves and their next re-election, thus completely losing touch with the reality of voters' lives.
I find all these requirements in various articles here in CdkW, which is why I keep trying to promote it among my friends and acquaintances.
Unfortunately, this requires reading skills and the desire to consume more than just headlines and the first, usually bold, paragraph.
Dear Mr. Kaiser,
First of all, I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. The foundation stone for the current misery was undoubtedly laid by Angela Merkel, who was unable to do anything with either internal party or broad social discourse. Instead of combating this central error, which leads to less rather than more democracy, the traffic light government has once again significantly stepped up the pace in this anti-democratic direction. If the FDP did not have both feet on the brakes, the citizens of our country would now be completely at the mercy of the red-green party - and not just when it comes to coronavirus.
However, I must vehemently disagree with you on other points. For example, the use of nuclear energy in its current form is quite irrational (see my reader comment on https://clubderklarenworte.de/endlich-alternativen/).
I also consider the demand for more advisory boards or councils to be undemocratic and wrong. Whoever decides on the composition can also control the outcome. It is to be feared that nothing other than the already paralyzing social conflict between the RE/wind energy lobby supporting the Greens and the nuclear lobby, essentially supported by the conservative parties, will emerge. In my opinion, the most sensible way of shaping the future is being jointly blocked:

The consequences for all of us will be dramatic. Enter the following question into the GPT chatbot, which is behind the EDGE chatbot, among others:
"What role does terrestrial stilling or evaporation play in climate change?",
gets a largely objective and well-founded answer. What we need is more objectivity and not more lobbying.
Best regards
Roland Aßmann

"Are there such people?" Yes, there are people without hate. Merkel was the only person in my rather long life that I hated. Once upon a time, but not anymore. There are people I don't like, people I'd prefer never to hear from again, that's all. Intellectually, I regret living in this country at this time. But I now think spiritually and that means: everything is animated, everything is unity. An insight that quantum physicists such as the late Hans-Peter Dürr and others have also come to, see Dürr's interviews on YouTube. Matter does not create spirit, it is the other way around. Everything is divine consciousness on an endless journey. So I have chosen to live in this form here and now, to experience this time and to grow from it. And I have grown tremendously in the last few years, more than ever before. The people who have voluntarily taken on the seemingly necessary villain roles in the current drama and from whom we are all suffering so much are at the end. They too will grow from it as I did in past lives as a villain. So why should I condemn them? The old world and the old way of thinking are collapsing, with a roar, but without any great catastrophe. You can see the first clouds of dust now. Don't look at what is broken, but at what is emerging. People are waking up before our eyes in droves. They will look for new, much more conscious leaders and new ways of life.
I don't want to be clever, but a statement by Nelson Mandela, which he is said to have made after his release from prison, fits in well with your comment, which I think is very good. When asked whether he had also been afraid during his long internment, Mandela said: "The only time I was afraid was when I felt that I hated my tormentors...
The Drosten cult has passed us by, many have been caught up in its wake, some are rubbing their eyes in disbelief as they begin to realize what has happened to them and their loved ones. The good Bhakdi, along with many others, has warned of this very damage. He, Germany's leading microbiologist, nothing more than a ridiculous figure? The taz cries foul over chlorinated chicken and genetic engineering in food. The past. Suddenly there is to be compulsory treatment with genetically effective drugs, for all men, women, children and livestock anyway. I'm looking for an explanation for the current press denial. It looks a bit orchestrated, doesn't it? I think a lot of subscribers in the German press landscape are feeling it.
A great victory for the truth, even if the state-funded media don't like it. There is plenty of evidence that this whole corona scam served a different purpose, namely the reduction of humanity. In Saxony, a doctor is still in custody because she dared to protect her patients from these criminal measures. It is high time we woke up.
It is shameful that a Buddhist has to explain to Western values what Jesus Christ taught. It is shameful that journalists have to point out our Basic Law to lawyers! It is reprehensible that the press does not inform objectively, but incites.
Thank you very much for the information with everything important about the Plön trial. And for the successful contextualization! I mean the social context of recent years. Up until now, I associated the sleepy town of Plön with its wonderful lake, a friendly, welcoming sailing school and passing my basic license exam - in other words, only positive things. Now I also have a negative association with the provincial metropolis, namely a senior public prosecutor who is incapable of doing her job.
Thank goodness for people and platforms like Club der klaren worte in Germany, Austria and Switzerland....
Heinz Rudolf Kunze, who was still writing texts like the following in 2020, but then unfortunately felt compelled (probably for financial reasons) to pander to the unvaccinated bashing, wrote something about the truth at the time:
The kindness, the innocence
The truth and happiness
Surrounded and threatened from all sides
The conflagration of evil
Moving closer, gaze by gaze
Contesting the right to life of freedom
The lead weight of the future
Presses everyone on the chest
Foreign and self-made worries
The certainty fades
Hope and desire
To a morning spent in peace
The dark fears nothing as much as the light
The light reveals its terrible face
The light that dwells in the soul
This is in the right place
Darkness does not have the last word
Darkness does not have the last word

Mr. Bakhdi may not know the lyrics, but he knows about the final victory (bad word...) of light over darkness. You don't even have to be a Buddhist for that. And THAT is what makes him so "dangerous" for the regime and its minions.
Here, too, it becomes clear once again: give the little strivers for power a little leeway (but only as much as it serves the purposes of the actual string-pullers) to play them off, then the program will run like clockwork.
Every "dark age" could only exist thanks to its millions of compliant and eager helpers. Without them, the few (measured against the total population) ideologically obsessed with power would be quite lonely and powerless.
That's exactly how it looks. There is no better way to put it.
