In this captivating interview by the editor of CdkW, Alexander Wendt, EX-FOCUS journalist and author, talks about his unique career and the deep problems of today's media landscape. Wendt critically examines how a homogenization of journalists and politicians with no real professional experience outside their bubble leads to a narrowing of social discourse. He emphasizes the importance of journalistic diversity and in-depth knowledge, especially in economic and scientific fields, and warns of the increasing alienation between journalism, politics and citizens. He also explains the growing influence of NGO-funded platforms such as Correctiv and the dangerous link between the media and politics. Wendt's solutions and his criticism of an increasingly ideologized society inspire reflection and action.

The mainstream follows the following rules and that says it all:
Anyone who doubts our propaganda is working for the enemy and is therefore a traitor
Our concern has something sacred
Recognized cultural institutions and scientists support our cause
We suffer few losses, the enemy's losses are considerable
The enemy uses unauthorized weapons
The enemy commits atrocities knowingly, when we make mistakes, it is unintentional
We are defending a noble goal and not special interests!
The leader of the enemy camp is demonized
The enemy is solely responsible for the war!
We do not want war!
Only in a "democracy" can you speak your mind, where you can't you live in a fascist green sectarian dictatorship disguised as a traffic light.
Turns off the power to the traffic light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The media have always been involved in the biggest disasters, just think of the jubilant reports in the First World War shortly before the capitulation and now the "permanent victories" of Ukraine, which will soon be a complete disaster.
It's all paid-for drivel and the limp-wristed grandmas against the right and many others still believe it.
Lord let it rain brains.
I think the article says it all :
