Prologue
by Markus Langemann//
Perhaps the important quote (see below) was lost in Germany because it was given on the foreign television of the Federal Republic of Germany (DW*).
The CDU Member of the Bundestag Roderich Kiesewetter during his visit to Kiev on 9.2.2024 in an interview with Deutsche Welle:
You shouldn't make hasty judgments in turbulent times. That's why I let this statement sink in for three days. Now, looking at it soberly, I have come to the conclusion that it is German warmongering.
The difficult thing about our information and media society is that we have to process a lot of information or bits of information every day. If you only see the individual pieces of a puzzle, you don't get the whole picture.
It is important to note the following points so that you can put together a complete picture of the facts from the individual pieces of information:
1. check sources: Pay attention to where the information comes from. Use trustworthy sources and check their credibility.
2. look for several perspectives: Obtain different sources and perspectives on a topic to avoid one-sided reporting.
3. understand connections: Try to understand the background and context of a topic. This helps to better categorize individual pieces of information.
4. think critically: Question the information and consider what interests could be behind it.
5. take notes: When collecting information, it can be helpful to take notes. This makes it easier to draw connections between the information later on.
6 Discuss: The exchange with others can open up new perspectives and contribute to a better understanding.
Regular
7. updates: Stay on top of developing stories to see how the picture changes with new information.
By following these steps, you can help develop a complete and nuanced understanding of complex issues. Connecting the dots.
In the following article, our author Dr. Johanna Weber has compiled over 100 sources. A picture emerges. You will find the source links at the end of the article.
The hidden drivers behind the one-sided portrayal of global conflicts
by Dr. Johanna Weber //
The American journalist Tucker Carlson announced an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the media immediately fired back at him, even suggesting that he should be sanctioned [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12]. Carlson had apparently also sought an interview with Zelensky [1].
SPIEGEL calls Carlson right-wing for the Putin interview and accuses him of justifications [5], while Carlson merely provides reasons for the interview and addresses the fact that most US Americans have not yet been able to hear Putin speak on the subject in an original voice [1].
SPIEGEL and F.A.Z had taken the negative reporting on Carlson from a report by the German press agency dpa; however, dpa had been repeatedly criticized in advance for manipulating the population [8], and other actors from the Western media do not necessarily report neutrally on current wars and conflicts either [21]. The US journalist Gonzalo Lira, who last reported from Ukraine, was arrested there and died in prison under unexplained circumstances [16, 23, 24], and freedom of the press and freedom of opinion in Ukraine is generally a sensitive issue.
Like journalists, the opposition is subject to reprisals; Ukraine even acts against journalists on Russian soil [17, 20, 22, 59]. Journalists have been killed not only in Ukraine, but also in Gaza [18]. Journalists in Germany, on the other hand, are better off; they are bought directly by the German government [25].
What is the reason for the currently rather one-sided coverage of wars and conflicts in the Western media, and what else would there be to report?
This may be the same reason why the Istanbul negotiations concerning the Ukraine conflict were only sparsely reported on in the Western media. During the negotiations in Istanbul in March 2022, Russia and Ukraine had come closer and were on the verge of an agreement that could have ended the war, but Western politicians blocked this [9, 10, 11, 26, 27].
A wide range of actors therefore seem to be keen on war, as statements or even plans to this effect are on everyone's lips. Military alliances are being formed [14, 15], trips are being made [28], preparations are being made: Sweden and Norway have called on their citizens to prepare for war or to report conspicuous drones immediately [48, 49]. Sweden and Norway have called on their citizens to prepare for war or to report conspicuous drones immediately [48, 49], Poland is conducting nationwide drone drills [13], Denmark wants to soften its borders as part of the drone drills [50], Austria and Switzerland are discussing joining NATO, the Swiss army chief Süssli has warned of an expansion of the war in Ukraine [44, 45], and our defense minister is also talking about a possible war in five to eight years (note the exact forecast here...), while Germany supports Ukraine with weapons [46, 47].
CDU MP Roderich Kiesewetter recently called (in an interview with Deutsche Welle) for Ukraine to support the shelling of Russia [100].
"We have to do everythingthat Ukraine is enabled toto destroy not only oil refineries in Russia, but also MinistriesCommand posts, command posts, command posts."
But it's not just actors in Europe, the USA has also been demanding more defensiveness from EU members for some time [51], and Iran, China and Russia are at war in the Indian Ocean [71]. All this could still be dismissed as sabre-rattling, but the first provocations [29, 32, 98] and preparations are already underway: as if we weren't already a defensive army all along, the Bundeswehr is currently working on a national defense plan [74], as is Poland [103].
However, the reasons for so much motivation for war (war-weariness is out [75, 76]) are obvious. The main reason is that there is simply too much money to be made from wars [30]. Perhaps this is why the USA has just suspended the need for a two-thirds majority in the US Congress for the vote on aid to Israel [70]; many US politicians have arms stocks [52, 53, 54, 55, 56], as do employees of the US Department of Defense [57]. Military corporations had massively supported the election campaigns of various US politicians [58]. The question arises as to what influence the US election will have in this respect. The candidates are currently positioning themselves differently with regard to a continuation of the Ukraine conflict [72, 73].
There are also links between politics and the arms industry in Germany [33]. Whether arms companies are also involved in the large donations to German parties (see Fig. 1) can only be seen on Statista behind the paywall [34]. But you also have the option of using Lobbypedia. The website allows you to spend several hours researching donations to German parties such as Rheinmetall [35], Krauss-Maffei Wegmann [36] or Südwestmetall [37, 38]. Various articles also report on this [39, 40, 41, 42, 43]. Statista is no longer needed.
The CDU, among others, has received a large proportion of donations from the arms industry. Perhaps this is one reason why Angela Merkel did not make any particular effort to implement the Minsk Agreement, which might have prevented hostilities in Ukraine [63, 64, 65, 66, 67].
The following fact seems particularly perfidious: Otto Bock's managing director Näder had donated generously to the FDP [43], whose member Strack-Zimmermann had recently spoken out in favor of more arms deliveries to Ukraine [60]. Otto Bock is currently making a fortune with prostheses for Ukrainian soldiers [61], and other large companies such as the armaments group Diehl are also making a profit [30, 31, 62]. The stock market giant EQT has shares in Otto Bock [77], and has also invested in Vanguard, State Street and Blackrock [78], which in turn hold shares in Lockheed Martin and Caterpillar [79, 80, 81]. Caterpillar is the company that always earns money from reconstruction after wars and conflicts [30, 101, 102]. EQT also holds shares in various companies involved in cybersecurity [82, 83, 84]. Incidentally, the media giant Comcast is also linked to Blackrock, Vanguard and Statestreet [105], as is the news agency Reuters with Blackrock and Vanguard [104], i.e. the companies that earn money from armaments are linked to the same share consortia as the companies that report on wars and conflicts.
In addition to profit, there is another pleasant side effect for the arms industry: in the Ukraine conflict, a wide variety of weapons systems can finally be tested in live action [68, 69].
Positive, or should we say beneficial, reporting on wars and conflicts therefore fits quite well into the picture for some actors, both financially and for other reasons. This is why the population must of course be brought on board, for example through the above-mentioned sampling, appeals or simply manipulation [87], because the example of Germany shows that the population does not actually want these wars [88].
Influencing public opinion on wars or political decisions has already been used in the past, for example in Iraq in the context of the so-called incubator lie [86], and possibly also in Syria with regard to chemical weapons that may not exist there after all [89, 92], but also in relation to the September 11 attacks [7]. The attacks of 11. The attacks of September 11, 2001 were used in the USA as justification for various political decisions [7], the existence of chemical weapons was used as a reason for US interventions in Syria's territorial integrity [89, 92, 93, 94], and the incubator lie, according to which Iraqis allegedly tore babies out of incubators and killed them, served as justification for the US attack on Iraq in 1990, although the alleged witness was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the USA, who had made a false statement [86].
The current economic situation is interesting in this context. Wars have already boosted the economy in the past (intentionally or unintentionally), for example shortly before the Second World War, which followed the phase after the great stock market crash of 1929 [96], and there were also parallels to the current euro crisis before the First World War [95, 97].
These historical examples thus show parallels with the above-mentioned activities currently taking place in Europe and worldwide. Against this background, it is perhaps not surprising that NATO is now finally implementing a permanent stationing in the Baltic [90, 99]. It's good for business.
Just as we had to ask ourselves at the time of the murder of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht how much freedom of opinion a young democracy can tolerate [91], we must ask ourselves the same question today: How much freedom of opinion can the preparation of a war tolerate, and who actually decides on this?
Elected politicians, or those who finance the politicians?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer writes (Resistance and Surrender) in the chapter "On Stupidity" that stupidity is not essentially a question of intellect, but rather a human defect, usually caused by an external influence, so that people have effectively given up their critical mind. So they let themselves think. Moreover, all power and the development of power require the stupidity of others. Stupid people cannot be convinced by arguments, nothing rational. And unlike those who consciously do evil, the stupid are completely satisfied with themselves and can therefore do evil without recognizing it as such.
Considering this, one wonders how it is possible to shake people awake at all. Bonhoeffer's opinion here is not uncontroversial: not a path of instruction is therefore possible, but only one of liberation. But perhaps there is another hope. I am convinced that the current events are giving many people a gut feeling of unease. That they have not yet completely succumbed to the anesthesia of "bread and games".
If it is true that love is the greatest force in the universe, then it should be possible to first pick up one or the other with loving, understanding conversations and then point out the power of self-efficacy; and this can also be on a very small scale, because this also acts like a single drop to overflow the barrel.
Thank you Mr. Langemann for this comment!
In this context, I would like to say the following about Germany's situation at the moment:
1. the Federal Government has broken the "2plus4 Treaty" by acting in a fait accompli.
2. the German citizens are virtually obliged to act according to section 20 of the Basic Law!
(Paragraph 20(4): "All Germans have the right to resist anyone who undertakes to abolish this order if no other remedy is possible")
This federal government is about to put Germany in the greatest danger since the end of the Second World War by openly and clearly pursuing aggression and warmongering. At the same time, it is quite obviously failing to take any steps that could lead to peace in Europe by diplomatic means.
Germany trains Ukrainian soldiers on its own territory.
Germany is being pushed into aggressive action - indirectly by the UK and the USA - which are at least demonstrably active in Ukraine through irregular units such as "Blackwater".
Moreover, without NATO's satellite reconnaissance, Ukraine is not at all capable of independent, targeted combat.
The current "leak" of Bundeswehr officers reveals the complete irresponsibility of this government force.
This is certainly not an independent, self-responsible and sovereign government action, because it is commanded by RAMSTEIN and the Pentagon.
Therefore: "Ami Go Home"!
DEMOSTRATING FOR THE DOWNFALL
In the German people again in parts
a strange behavior becomes apparent,
they get excited about their nonsense,
that are driving the country into the abyss.
Only the shares benefit from the palaver
by war whore Strack-Zimmermann,
Russian carcasses lie in the field,
the dividends increase.
That's why they take to the streets,
to demonstrate against the right,
because they clearly hate all of them,
who do not vote for their war.
Worship the prophets of death,
in their stupidity they do not hear
the blowing of left-wing war trumpets,
let themselves be beguiled by murderers.
When they crow in the streets now,
against those who stand for peace,
which almost happened the other day,
Germany will now go under completely.
In the end, we can only hope,
that many who are still drunk today,
at the next elections at the latest
save us from the agony of traffic lights.
Very apt! But since we live under Orwellian conditions, I would like to point out that our government is basically right-wing extremist and only pretends to be left-wing. See Ulrich Mies: The new fascism that doesn't want to be!
I see it the same way. The way this government, the decision-makers and their dependents in the ministries, authorities, administrations and in the dependent and loyal media are acting gives the impression of a well-organized, authoritarian or totalitarian system.
The whole thing is structured by a contemporary ideology. Ideologies are the interchangeable flags and subjugation rituals that every totalitarianism needs.
Behind them, the crowd is supposed to run along, staggering, well-behaved and drunk on mass madness. Anyone who doesn't join in is thrown out.
Every form of ideology is totalitarian in nature.
Totalitarianism is right-wing extremism.
Militarism is right-wing extremism.
Incitement against dissenters and critics is right-wing extremist.
Any kind of racism is right-wing extremism.
The goal of exploiting and oppressing people is right-wing extremist.
Calling for and accepting violence against dissenters and critics is right-wing extremist.
The deliberate social isolation, exclusion, dehumanization, defamation and disparagement of dissidents and critics is right-wing extremism.
The deliberate division of society into those who follow and those who dissent is right-wing extremism.
Supporting totalitarian states is right-wing extremism.
Supporting and promoting violence against minorities, no matter where, is right-wing extremist.
The attempt at suppression and totalitarian control of culture, language and education is right-wing extremist.
Shouting down dissenters and critics is right-wing extremism.
When a government calls for marches against the parliamentary opposition and can rely on media loyal to the party line, this is right-wing extremism.
Anyone who takes part in this is literally a follower.
It takes courage and the will to be free to protest peacefully and publicly against the will of those in power.
Preventing or prohibiting plurality and diversity in all areas of society, politics, media and culture is right-wing extremism.
Spreading fear and hatred is right-wing extremism.
Those who actively participate are right-wing extremist perpetrators.
Those who remain silent are followers.
The abyss is right in front of us.

Oh, the poor Basic Law, which is no longer protected by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. A party cartel is constantly calling for amendments to the Basic Law and complaining about the high requirements (two-thirds majority) that must be met. Yet practically all major projects are directed against the Basic Law: submission to the EU, UN and "Atlantic Bridge", the "Great Transformation", the "Great Reset", the hectic abandonment of nation-state sovereignty, the renunciation of secure borders and uncontrolled mass immigration into our hard-earned social system! Apart from the serial breaches of service, it is particularly perfidious when those in power invoke human rights as justification, which they are no longer willing to grant to non-leftists. We are dealing with a dangerous left-green cultural revolution that has already entered the phase of aggressive unrestraint and is not supported by large sections of the German people!
Thanks to the Club of Clear Words, which uses neutral, i.e. not "correct", quality journalism to help its readers navigate through the fog of biased information. Because, as always, it is not those who are right who are heard, but those who shout the loudest. And these are the rulers who have total control over the media and who allow themselves to be seduced and paid for this by interested parties far removed from democracy. This established anti-democratic principle is tolerated because it is covered up and promoted by the cartel media. It escalates and incites war rage by painting a picture of an enemy that must be destroyed by a just war. The toll of blood, sacrifice and devastation, not to mention Christian love of peace, do not feature in the calculations of these warmongers from the salons of party-political high morals. This is only possible because we have once again "correctly" allowed the democratic state to become a corrupt party state before our very eyes. Reputable sources are indispensable - and alarming - to confirm this statement!
I am looking for solutions and the first thing I come across is the public broadcasting system and the government-affiliated "networks" and agencies! In addition, there are fundamental efforts to intensify the official government's distortion of information and manipulation of opinion throughout the EU and to frame it as a "fight against disinformation, hatred and agitation" or as "promoting democracy" (sic!). Here, the war against critics of the government proganda and all non-leftists has long since gained momentum - openly anti-democratic and unconstitutional! The result is the neglect of public discourse and the division of society. Nevertheless, it remains important to question the prevailing system of quasi-state media using arguments and all available legal means.
P.S. Journalistic quality must also be measured by the criterion of "German high language" (formerly the self-description of "Die Zeit"). That is why I take the liberty of denouncing the quirk of introducing dates with "in", which stems from careless translations from English. It has become a bit fashionable, but it is a completely dispensable Anglicism and thus a linguistic neglect that CdkW can counteract. At the same time, I guiltily apologize for the ugly "framen".
Conclusion: humanity has learned nothing from history! And the many are too passive and too gullible to defend themselves against the few with dishonest or criminal intentions. The game has been going on for thousands of years with the same basic features. There is the core of those who profit from wars, there is the caste of followers who profit directly and indirectly, and there is the mass of sheep who do not understand what is going on. This is partly due to intellectual incapacity and lack of time, but also because the few cleverly disguise their crimes. Either as "economy" or as "politics". Both then require aggressive actions, usually to the detriment of the many, which are presented as unavoidable. TINA, there is no alternative. Propaganda via the mass media, owned by the few, are the heralds of the system. Here, followers sell their souls to the few for money and participation, namely the illusion of being important and belonging to the few. What to do? Nothing, just stoically endure. That's how humans are with their limited capacity for knowledge and their iron will.
Clear insight, formulated in an answer that is really worth reading.
Thank you
This is the clearest criminal offense to date under Article 26 (1) of the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany and MUST be punished. It is interesting in this context that, despite the demand for punishment in the Basic Law, the resulting law of execution, Section 118 of the Criminal Code, was already deleted without replacement a few years ago (2018?).
1. how can it be that the Basic Law calls for punishment, but the Criminal Code no longer provides for punishment - even if the fact-checkers from the BR claim the opposite without justification and in a vague manner? So what is the Basic Law still worth?
(1 a. How can it be that even in the case of other articles of the Basic Law, which must be adopted or amended by a two-thirds majority, a simple law, even a simple ordinance, is sufficient to circumvent the Basic Law or render it ineffective? So what is the Basic Law still worth?)
2. the deletion of § 118 from the code also clearly proves that such a violation was not only feared, but also prepared and others will follow!
